Events Team

The Events Team is the cog and gears of Project Trashion, they make things happen and they get things done. Without the Events Team, Project Trashion is just an art show with no place to go. Every member of the events team helps create and manage high-key and low-key events that happens throughout the year. Roles and responsibilities can range to managing external partners, management of logistics, organize floor plan, to communicating with Feds to ensure our events are a go.


Events Director

As the Events Director, you will holistically oversee the whole Events Team.

  • You have experience in planning and executing events

  • You understand how to create an experience

  • You are able to think creatively in high stress situations

  • You have experience in using excel

  • You have a great attention to detail

  • You are community-driven and a team-player

  • You understand the big picture, see ahead and plan for contingencies

  • You have the ability to gauge and judge deadlines and timings met

  • You are organized and able to delegate and manage people

  • You have excellent communication and interpersonal skills to gel the whole team

Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage the Events team

  • Create S.M.A.R.T. goals and deadlines for the team to achieve

  • Create, plan, approve, and monitor event plans

  • In-charge of hiring the Events team

  • Collaborate and coordinate with other Directors on meeting objectives and goals

  • Create and ensure deadlines of all of the departments under you to be met

  • Build a strong relationship and channel of communication through compassion and leadership together with the team

  • Attend weekly Directors meeting

  • Run weekly Events team meetings  


Events Coordinator

As an events coordinator, you’ll be responsible for executing assigned events tasks.

  • Plan, assist, coordinate and execute all events plans

  • Attend regular team meetings
