Come join us for a day of creativity, and sustainability. Project: Trashion aims to tackle the issues of waste in the fashion industry and our daily lives through art, community, and education. The Union will consist of a trade show and a fashion show. The trade show will be featuring sustainable local businesses including Fleece to Fabric, LUNAMOON, A Million Elephants, and Le Prix selling their designs and answering questions about their take on sustainable fashion. The fashion show will be showcasing designs from these businesses as well as thrifted curations and “trash” designs by students and artists from the region. The trade show will be ongoing from 11am-6pm, the first run of the fashion show will be from 1pm-2:30pm, and the second run will occur from 3:30pm-5pm.
We hope to start small by impacting our local community in a sustainable way, and with your support, we would love to grow and take on a larger scale and spread even further the concept of a sustainable, and fashionable, lifestyle.
