The Artistic team will embody the heart and soul of Project Trashion’s and everything we stand for. We need you, the creative, to be the one delivering the message of design, sustainability and inspire people with your artistic call-to-action. We need you to move the masses and inspire change not just within the fashion industry itself, but also the hearts of people and encourage them live their lives more sustainably. Whether you’re a hands-on designer, a fashion stylist, or an artist in your own right, we want you to be our voice of our community. We want you to showcase what sustainable fashion and a sustainable future looks like.

Artistic Director

As the Artistic Director, you will holistically oversee the whole artistic team.

 

What we’re looking for:

o   You’re a leader first, and an artist second

o   You are community-driven and a team-player

o   You understand the big picture and able to see connections between departments

o   You have the ability to gauge and judge deadlines and timings met

o   You are organized and able to delegate and manage people

o   You have excellent communication and interposal skills to gel the whole team

      

Responsibilities:

o   You will manage and lead the team to achieve Project Trashion’s objectives

o   In-charge of hiring the team and departments

o   Collaborate and coordinate with other Directors on meeting objectives and goals

o   Create and ensure deadlines of all of the departments under you to be met

o   Build a strong relationship and channel of communication through compassion and leadership together with the team

o   Lead and manage the Artistic team

o   Create S.M.A.R.T. goals and deadlines for the team to achieve

o   Create, plan, approve, and monitor event plans

o   Attend weekly Directors meeting

o   Run weekly Artistic team meetings

Fashion TEAM

Trashion Designers (5-6 Positions)

Trashion Designers are artists that creates wearable art from “waste” materials to convey a compelling message to our community on the state of our world.

What We’re looking for

·      Accountable

·      Experience in creating wearable art

·      Able to handle deadlines & time pressure

·      Shows grit and determination to be able to see through your designs

·      Previous work experience or portfolio of artwork can increase your chances of being selected

Responsibilities

·      Creating wearable artwork that is conceptually on theme with Project Trashion

·      Coordinating times with your assigned models (your “pod”) to ensure fitting is done and deadlines are met

·      Working together with the Marketing team, Models team & Events team & Stage Team

Thrift Stylist (5-6 Positions)

Thrift Stylist are creative individuals that have an eye for fashion and a taste for aesthetics. You will be the voice for the second-hand fashion movement and showcase your identity and style to the community. You will be showcasing how amazing second-hand fashion can look on people and promote the culture of reuse and recycle style by putting together looks that are uniquely you.

Responsibilities

·      Create styles and looks from used-clothing

·      Style the models assigned to you (your “pod”)

·      Responsible and accountable for the clothes under your pod

·      Working together with the thrift partners to ensure safe keepings of the clothes provided

·      Working together with the Marketing team, Models team & Events team & Stage Team
